How to deal with bad buyers on eBay and other online marketplaces?

eBay and other online marketplaces limit sellers’ ability to deal with rogue buyers.

Without a balance of power, some have become disrespectful, threatening, and abusive. If you are reading this, you know full well what we are talking about.

  4. UK sellers can sue eBay via the Small Claims Court.

    Here is an example:

eBay wants to issue refund to buyers and close the case fast.

If a refund is issued wrongly, sellers should take legal action against eBay.

  5. A buyer returned a WiFi Camera claiming to be not as described, even though the camera was new!

He failed to return all the accessories.

eBay as usual refunded the money to the buyer, even though I told them that he failed to comply with the return rules.

When I complained, eBay tried to fob me off with their usual canned responses.

I threatened to file a case against eBay in the Small Claims Court in the UK.

eBay immediately reimbursed the full amount!

eBay sellers should fight back against rogue buyers who are tolerated by eBay!
